About test coverage metrics
Requirement coverage measures what percentage of your documented requirements have at least one executed test case. Industry standard targets vary by domain — safety-critical systems target 100%, while typical enterprise applications aim for 80–95%.
Pass rate tells you the health of the current build. A pass rate below 70% in a release candidate typically signals a go/no-go risk. Defect density (defects per requirement) is useful for comparing quality across sprints or release cycles.
